WCWA is a dynamic Community Interest Company dedicated to recognising, honouring, and celebrating the extraordinary achievements of women across the West Country, including Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset.

Our core mission is to uplift and build a vibrant community by shining a light on the outstanding contributions women make in various fields and diverse communities. We aim to empower, inspire, and support women, fostering a culture of inclusivity and equality while highlighting their remarkable accomplishments. The awards embrace the spirit of being braver, bolder, and bigger.

Since the inaugural event in 2022, the awards categories are inclusive, extending beyond business to celebrate women from all walks of life - including: Small Business, Green Business, The Phoenix Award, Combatting Violence Against Women and Girls, Women in Charity, Women in STEM, Women in Health, Sport, Construction & Property, along with Inspirational Leader, and the Diversity & Equality categories.
